JOINED ABIA POLITICS TO FIGHT BAD GOVERNMENT’ Dr Chima Anyaso

A fore most Politician and an International Businessman , Chief Desmond Chima Anyaso popularly known as Ofuji have declared that the reason behind his joining Abia Politics is to fight bad governance that was then prevalent in the state .
Chief Anyaso who spoke to a cross section of the press at his Igbere country home in Bende LGA of Abia state , on Easter Sunday said before he came into Abia Politics misrule was the order of the day so he decided to join the game not to make wealth but to do the right thing for the good of the state . He said this was the essence of his becoming Deputy Governor elect to Engr Enyinnaya Nwafor as the governor elect under the auspices of the Young People’s Party YPP .
He explained that during the electioneering campaign era of 2023 election , they in YPP decided not to go into exchange of words With the governorship candidate of Labour party Dr Alex Otti because they discovered that Dr Alex Otti share the same vision with YPP to terminate bad governance in Abia State , so they shall support him if he wins the election . He Said YPP was however optimistic to win the guber election but when Dr Alex Otti emerged winner of the election in 2023 , we had to support him by ensuring that the results of the election were not manipulated . According to him they never regretted that decision because the governor of the state Dr. Alex Otti is performing very well , he Chief Anyaso is happy all Abians are happy with the government of Dr Otti except those who are interested in sharing the people’s money . Governor Otti he said is a man of Integrity he will never be interested in sharing money , people are happy especially for his revolution in Infrastructural development. He noted that what is going on in the state presently is positively affecting all the sectors of the economy such as human Capital development Agriculture Education Health among others . Chief Anyaso was critical of Past administrations in the state describing it as an era of deceit a time when people feel ashamed to say they are from Abia but less than two years into Otti’s Administration, people feel very proud to say they are Abians . Chief Anyaso disclosed that the governor Dr Alex Otti hinted him that he is going to build the best international conference centre in Africa just like the one in Rwanda around Enyinba international hotel Aba and the two facilities would contribute Immensely to hospitality and Events centre needs of the state coupled with job creation for teeming youths in the state.
Speaking on governance at the federal level , the one time governorship Aspirant under PDP in 2023 election , said at the federal level , some in roads have been made in some areas however , the federal government is not getting it right in some sectors , there are rooms for improvement but generally there are still alot to be done in the country . The ruling Party should be more democratic other Political parties should be allowed to exist we are not running a one Party state in Nigeria , he Stated . In his Easter message Chief Anyaso wished the governor and all Abians well saying that Christ have risen and Abia too have risen to a new dawn of better governance under Dr. Alex Chioma Otti
