TRADITIONAL RULER URGE CHIEFTAINCY TITLE HOLDERS TO BE GOOD AMBASSADOR’S IN THEIR COMMUNITIES

The fore most Traditional Ruler of Ibeku Egwu Asa Ancient kingdom in Umuahia North LGA of Abia State His Royal Majesty Eze Samuel Onuoha The Ogurube the 4th of Ibeku Ancient kingdom have charged all those he conferred Chieftaincy title on , to be of good dispositions in their various Communities..

speaking during the conferment of Chieftaincy title on some deserving sons and daughters of Ibeku clan, penultimate Saturday , the traditional ruler Eze Samuel Onuoha who is about 104 years old and heading over 20 other traditional rulers in Ibeku clan told the new title holders that they are his ambassadors and his eyes in their different communities therefore , they should be men and women of Integrity with characters worthy of emulation , Men of honour who their people should be able to hold in high esteem .

Speaking at the occassion , one of the Awardees High Chief Udochukwu shadrack Ogbonna from Lodu Ndume Ibeku autonomous community who bagged the Chieftaincy title of Odogwu Kariri Odogwu expressed his gratitude to the Ogurube the 4th for conferring on him the Chieftaincy title , he said though his beginning in life was small but today it is growing bigger than he expected. He promised to serve his Lodu Community with the fear of God. Another Awardee Chief Prophetess Sarah Ogbonna was full of gratitude to her husband for his contributions to make the event a reality .She promised to serve the women wing of her Community committedly without reservations . Another Awardee Chief Francis Onuegbu who bagged the Chieftaincy title of Okwuroha said he was joyous over the honour done him. He prayed for the traditional ruler to have a longer life even at 104 years . The Traditional Prime minister of the community High Chief Okechukwu Nwankwo was present during the occassion.
