Spurs Sack Postecuglou

Just few weeks after bringing Tottenham Hotspurs’ 17 years wait for a silverware to an end by winning the Europa League in the expense of fellow Premier League side, Manchester United, Ange Postecoglou has been fired.

Obviously, the Europa League triumph which guarantees a place for next season’s UEFA Champions League was not enough to wipe Spurs miserable outing in the league which saw them lose 22 of their 38 matches.

Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levi is a man known for not being sentimental with his coaches. For instance he sacked Jose Mourinho few days to their Carabao Cup final against Manchester City in 2021.
