UMUNNEOCHI, Abia STATE – In a remarkable show of commitment to educational development and youth empowerment, the member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Ogah, has awarded a full tertiary education scholarship to Miss Okechukwu Mmesoma Josephine, a brilliant student from Ihie Isuochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area.

Miss Mmesoma recently made headlines after recording an outstanding academic performance in the recently conducted West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), scoring 7 As, 1 B, and 1 C. Her academic feat caught the attention of Hon. Ogah, who wasted no time in pledging to sponsor her tertiary education in recognition of her hard work, discipline, and dedication.

Speaking on the gesture, Hon. Ogah said the move was part of his vision to promote excellence and reward brilliance among youths within his constituency. He noted that investing in education remains one of the most sustainable ways to drive community and national development.

“Mmesoma has proven that with focus and determination, our youths can compete globally. She is a source of pride to Ihie Isuochi, Umunneochi, and indeed the entire Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency. It is my responsibility to support her dreams so she can become a great asset to Nigeria,” Ogah said.
