Bourdex Praises Alex Otti’s 2-Year Legacy in Abia, Declares “Abia is Rising Again”
Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex, MFR, delivers a powerful message on the 2-year milestone of Governor Otti’s administration. Read what he said that has everyone talking.
The political landscape in Abia State was stirred this week as renowned telecom pioneer and former mayor of Ohafia LGA, Chief Dr. David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex, MFR, OON, delivered a powerful congratulatory message to Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, celebrating two years of what he described as “visionary and redemptive governance.”
In a statement that is already generating nationwide buzz, Bourdex commended Governor Otti’s administration for not only transforming the physical infrastructure of the state but also restoring “hope, dignity, and a sense of purpose” to a people long disappointed by past leaderships.
“In just twenty-four months, your leadership has done more than transform roads and bridges — it has resurrected a dream that was buried beneath years of neglect,” Bourdex said.
He noted that previously abandoned roads are now “paved pathways of possibility,” while salaries once “buried in arrears” have seen the light of day under Otti’s government.
Bourdex, a highly respected industrialist and statesman, said the significance of Otti’s second anniversary in office goes beyond the passage of time. Instead, he sees it as a testament to courage, vision, and effective performance that has redefined governance in Abia State.
“Your bold steps toward economic revival, infrastructural renewal, and institutional reforms have made Abia a reference point for good governance in Nigeria,” he asserted.
According to Bourdex, Governor Otti’s approach to leadership is restoring public confidence in the democratic process. “You have rekindled belief — that a government can indeed work for the people, that promises made can become promises kept, and that leadership is a sacred duty, not a personal privilege,” he added.
The telecom magnate also prayed for greater wisdom and divine inspiration for Otti as he enters the second half of his first tenure. He stressed the importance of maintaining the pace of transformational governance that has earned Otti both local and national acclaim.
“May the Almighty endow you with continued wisdom, fortitude, and divine inspiration to steer Abia State toward even greater achievements,” Bourdex concluded, adding, “Abia is proud. Abia is grateful. Abia is rising!”
Signed as the “Immediate Past Mayor, Ohafia LGA” and known widely as Ugo’Ena Nde Abiriba, Bourdex’s message is being seen by many political observers as both a genuine endorsement and a strong political signal ahead of future realignments in the state’s power dynamics.
As reactions continue to pour in, one thing is certain — the Bourdex statement has added a significant voice to the growing acclaim surrounding Governor Otti’s mid-term performance.
