“Your good works will campaign for you,” Bishop Echema declared before a jubilant congregation. “If you cannot see, can’t you also hear? Even myself—I never knew governance could be this effective. I never believed Aba could be this clean. Look at the roads—solid, durable constructions, not just sand-pouring.”

The Bishop particularly highlighted the reconstruction of Port Harcourt Road, Aba, describing it as his long-standing benchmark for assessing any administration. According to him, for the first time, Abians are proud of their state and their governor.

Bishop Echema further revealed that light has returned to once-deserted areas, businesses have revived, and economic activities are booming because of the conducive environment created by Governor Otti’s good governance. He emphasized that development is visible, not hidden, and that even critics must acknowledge the tangible changes.

In an emotional moment, he recalled Governor Otti’s promise during the 2024 Chrism Mass at Christ the King Cathedral, Aba, where he assured pensioners that their long-awaited payments would soon begin. “We thought it was a political statement,” Echema said, “but it happened exactly as he promised. Pensioners confirmed it themselves.”

Concluding his powerful endorsement, Bishop Echema proclaimed, “As you continue with your good works, no Jupiter, no evil can stop you. Nobody can challenge you because the works on ground will speak.”

Governor Alex Otti, visibly moved by the overwhelming support, thanked God for sparing the life of Rev. Dr. Ikpeamaeze, who survived a seven-hour surgery in Germany. He reiterated his administration’s commitment to ending medical tourism by establishing a world-class medical village in Isiala Ngwa South, assuring that the groundbreaking announcement would happen soon.

He also confirmed that after completing the ongoing renovation of 200 Primary Healthcare Centers across the 184 wards of Abia State, another batch of 200 centers would be upgraded until all 948 Primary Healthcare facilities in Abia meet world-class standards.

In addition, Governor Otti announced the construction of a brand-new Eketa Market, expected to be completed before year-end, serving as a model for market development across the state.
