Galvanization Of Support For President Tinubu, A Task Vigorously Pursued By Rt Hon Ben Kalu.

In literary appreciation, there is a figure of speech that aptly illustrates the importance of commitment to friendship. It is that idiom that says, ‘a friend in need is a friend indeed’.

Time and experience have often, if not always, proved that many persons who cluster around men in power are merely fair weather friends. They are opportunists eagerly hanging around such persons to see what they can grab.

In the event of any crash in fortune, those hangers-on would be the first not just to desert the man they clustered around, but to assume the responsibility of castigating and disparaging their former benefactor.

Contrary to the above scenario, the Member representing Bende Federal Constituency in the 10th House of Representatives and Deputy Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CON, has taken it upon himself to mobilise people from all walks of life in the South-East of Nigeria, and arouse in them the consciousness of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu,CON, has been unrelenting in his advocacy for support for President Tinubu. He regularly meets with people of different strata, from across different Political Parties, ideologies and social thoughts. On each of such occasions, he adumbrates the numerous achievements of President Tinubu in the South-East Region, including the establishment of the South-East Development Commission, SEDC, which, itself, is a brainchild of the Deputy Speaker. He also emphasises the good work the President is doing on 2nd Niger Bridge. He does not miss even the slightest opportunity to remind the People of South-East Region that the Three Rs; Reconciliation, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, that Nigeria’s second Military Head of State, Major-General Yakubu Gowon, had promised the Igbo after the Nigerian Civil War, otherwise known as Nigeria/Biafra War, in 1970, were never fulfilled by any Government in Nigeria for more than fifty-two years, except with the emergence of President Tinubu.

A Man of conviction, Rt Honourable Benjamin Kalu,CON, believes that President Tinubu’s performance in his first two years is worth the confidence of Nigerians, particularly the South-East.

To this effect, Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CON, has created a political subsidiary platform from President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda which he calls Renewed Hope Partners. He is, on daily basis, motivating many groups to align with Renewed Hope Partners, as cooperating Partners.

Already, the response has been enormous and captivating. Many groups have gone into partnership with the Renewed Hope Partners. One of such groups is the Renewed Hope Pen Partners initiated by a former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Abia State, Sir Don Ubani.

The strange aspect of what Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu is doing is that, unlike what many other Nigerian Politicians do, Ben is deploying huge resources solely to garner support, not for himself, but for the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Most Distinguished Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Again, unlike characteristic selfishness and pride of some prominent political leaders in Nigeria, whatever Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu is doing in the name of Renewed Hope Partners, he makes sure such activities are carried out on the direction of and the consent of the leadership of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia State.

Today, Sunday (Nkwo) 1st June, 2025, at the playground of Bende Local Government Council, at 11 am, a multitude of Renewed Hope Partners will gather, in one accord, to be inducted and inaugurated as Renewed Hope Partners. It certainly promises to be colourfully successful.
