Governor Otti has fostered Grassroots development – Oluebube Chukwu

The Head, Due Process and Public Procurement Bureau in Abia State, Dr Oluebube Chukwu,says the leadership principles of Governor Alex Otti has fostered an environment that encourages transparent leadership and citizen-focused governance as is currently witnessed at the Grassroots.

Speaking at Afor Ojide Market Square, Amuda Isuochi, on saturday during the anniversary event of the Councillor representing Amuda Ward in Umunneochi Local Government Area, Hon. David Mba, the Due Process Boss noted that the celebration is in line with the Governor’s vision of inclusiveness and accountability.

Dr Chukwu lauded, the Councillor for what he described as impactful and community-driven leadership within his first year in office, pointing out that he has demonstrated commitment to grassroots development and delivering meaningful projects.

In order to compliment the efforts of the Councillor and the empowerment support initiated at the event, Dr Chukwu who chaired the occasion, announced the provision an additional ₦20,000 each to 16 local women to boost their small businesses through the Oluebube A. Chukwu Foundation (OACF).

He described the Councillor as a dedicated and worthy community leader.

The Senior special Assistant used the forum to charge residents to participate actively in the ongoing voter registration exercise and sustain their support for the present administration.

Presenting his address, Hon. Mba; a former youth president of Amuda, thanked God and the people of his ward for the mandate and support.

The Councillor who outlined some of his achievements in the past year, reaffirmed his commitment to advancing development initiatives and improving the welfare of constituents.

The event attracted goodwill contributions from the Mayor of Umunneochi LGA, Chief Sunny Afurobi and the State House of Assembly member representing Umunneochi, Hon Mathias Umeh Nwachi, the Abia Arise initiative, and other stakeholders.

The anniversary featured the distribution of educational and economic support packages to beneficiaries including 22 primary school pupils who received ₦15,000 each, 20 secondary school students who received ₦20,000 each, and 16 women entrepreneurs who received ₦20,000 each to support their small-scale ventures.
