Osu Ajiri, Halilu Bala Usman, former Deputy Gov old Plateau is dead

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Halilu Bala Usman, the Osu Ajiri of Udege Chiefdom and former Deputy Governor of the old Plateau State, has passed away.

The first-class traditional ruler died on Sunday after a protracted illness, according to sources.

A family source disclosed that his burial, in accordance with Islamic rites, has been scheduled for today in Udege, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

The late monarch, revered for his leadership and service to both his people and the state, leaves behind a legacy of dedication and community development.

His passing has thrown the entire Udege community and Nasarawa State into mourning.
