Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has approved the appointment of Board members for the Umuahia Capital Development Authority (UCDA) and the Greater Aba Development Authority (GADA) as part of ongoing efforts to fast-track infrastructural growth and urban renewal in the State.
The newly constituted boards are expected to play pivotal roles in the implementation of the present administration’s urban development agenda for Umuahia, the state capital, and Aba, its commercial hub.
According to a statement made available to Newsmen by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, the appointees for the Umuahia Capital Development Authority include:
Barr. Emeka Uwakolam – Chairman
Mrs. Oluchi Ahukanna – Member
Mr. Enyinnaya Okereke – Member
Mr. Chukwudi Abengowe – Member
Mr. Kingsley Agomoh – General Manager.
For the Greater Aba Development Authority, the Governor appointed:
Ide John Udeagbala – Chairman
Arc. Uche Ukeje – Director-General
Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike – Member
Barr. Mrs. Louise Augustine – Member
Chief Geoffrey Ike – Member.
