UTME 2025 Errors: JAMB reschedules examination for those affected
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that about 379,997 candidates in the just concluded 2025 examination would retake the examination.
Briefing Journalists this Wednesday, JAMB registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede admitted that there were errors that affected the performance of candidates during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination,UTME, held across different centres in the country.

took total responsibility for the mass failure that trailed the 2025 UTME.
According to the JAMB Registrar, 65 centres in Lagos and 92 centres in Owerri Zone covering the five states in the South East, would rewrite the exam.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has admitted that there were errors that affected the performance of candidates during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination held across different centres in the country.
The press briefing followed widespread complaints of technical glitches, unusually low scores, and alleged irregularities in the just-concluded UTME.
