Work intensifies in the Ongoing rehabilitation, expansion and reconstruction of the Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Rumuigbo

The Ongoing rehabilitation, expansion and reconstruction of the Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Rumuigbo, an ambitious project initiated by the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara is moving as expected and will soon be realized.

According to the Rivers State Government, when completed, the upgraded facility will feature a modern neuro-psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation centre, a General Hospital unit, conference hall and ICT unit, hostel blocks, staff quarters, drug storage facility, cafeteria, mini-supermarket, morgue, maintenance unit and other critical support facilities to enhance patient care.

The effort indicates the readiness of the Sir Siminalayi Fubara administration’s resolve to provide the people with the needed infrastructure.
