A political stakeholder in Abia State, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has urged residents to support the continuation of Governor Alex Otti’s administration beyond 2027, citing what he described as evident progress and purposeful leadership.

Anyaso, who said he is the founder and sole sponsor of the “Otti Again 2027 Movement,” made the appeal in a statement addressed to the people of the state. He called for unity across political, ethnic, and social lines to sustain the development initiatives currently underway.

He noted that the present administration has moved away from “politics as usual,” introducing policies focused on infrastructure renewal, rebuilding public trust, and improving the state’s economic outlook.

According to him, the achievements recorded so far under Governor Otti are visible and significant, warning that any disruption to the current leadership could derail the state’s progress.

“The Otti Again 2027 Movement was born out of the desire to protect and sustain this new Abia. It is not just a campaign, but a collective commitment to progress and accountability,” he said.

Anyaso also called on Abians at home and in the diaspora to align with the governor’s vision, stressing that continuity in leadership is essential to consolidating ongoing reforms and securing long-term development.

He expressed optimism about the state’s future, stating that Abia is on a path of growth and must maintain its forward momentum through collective support and sustained leadership.
