Avoid delving into civil matters – Abia CP warns Officers
The Commissioner of Police, Abia command, CP Danladi Isa directed Divisional Police officers (DPOs) to strengthen collaboration with school authorities within their divisions to identify and address peculiar security challenges.
CP Isa who was speaking during a strategic conference with officers, including Area Commanders, DPOs, HODs and Tactical Team Commanders at the Command’s Officer’s mess in Umuahia stressed the importance of enhanced visibility policing and charged them to ensure that police presence is felt in the state.
He reminded officers of the need to maintain professionalism, respect human rights, and adhere to lawful detention procedures.
The Abia CP who emphasized the need for civility and proper supervision, warned officers against delving into civil matters.
The conference featured a presentation on mental health awareness and effective stress management, which was led by the Officer in charge of Medical, ACP Emelike Chinenye.
