Bende Stakeholders Unite Behind Chima Anyaso’s Reps Bid
Leaders from across political, governmental, and community structures in Bende Federal Constituency have unanimously endorsed Dr. Chima Anyaso for the House of Representatives, urging him to contest the seat in the forthcoming elections.
The endorsement came during a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting in Igbere, where government appointees, political leaders, and representatives from all 13 wards of the Bende constituency expressed confidence in Dr. Anyaso’s leadership capacity and commitment to development.

Presenting the aspirant to the gathering, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Cliff Agbaeze, said the call for Dr. Anyaso to run was driven by his proven track record and the trust he has built among the people.

He stressed that Bende requires a credible and competent representative with a clear vision for progress.
According to him, the groundswell of support for Dr. Anyaso reflects a shared belief across the constituency in his ability to deliver effective representation at the national level.


Speaking for the Ikwuesii Bloc, Mrs. Ezinne Onyeabor, Dr. Pascal Kalu, and Dr. Kenneth Chikezie described Dr. Anyaso as a dependable and capable candidate worthy of the mandate.

Similarly, stakeholders from the Umunma Bloc, including Dr. Mrs. Chinyere Thomas, Chief Emeka Kalu, and Mr. Peter Ekekwe, commended his contributions to the development of Bende and pledged to mobilize their people in support of his candidacy.
In his remarks, the member representing Bende North State Constituency, Hon. Nnamdi Ibekwe, appealed to the people to support his re-election bid to the State House of Assembly, while also endorsing Dr. Alex Anyaso for the Federal House seat.

Also speaking,the Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia State on Political Affairs Hon. Iheanacho Obioma thanked the people of Bende for their sustained support for Governor Alex Otti and Dr. Chima Anyaso, noting that unity among stakeholders remains crucial for continued progress in the constituency.

Responding, Dr. Chima Anyaso expressed gratitude for the overwhelming show of support and confidence in his ambition. He emphasized the importance of equity and rotational representation, stating that it is now the turn of Umunna, as Ikwuesii Bloc has previously had its opportunity.

He assured the people that if elected to the House of Representatives, he would provide purposeful leadership and uphold the trust reposed in him, pledging not to disappoint the people of Bende.
