EPL: Rio Ferdinand names 3 managers Man Utd should appoint after Amorim sack

Former Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, has listed three managers that could replace Ruben Amorim.

U-18 coach, Darren Fletcher, is expected to take charge of the team for the Brighton game on Wednesday.

But Ferdinand has handed the Red Devils several suggestions for a permanent boss, bringing up names like Roberto De Zerbi, Thomas Tuchel and Xavi Hernandez.

He wrote on X: “I would go…. De Zerbi/Tuchel/Xavi or Darren Fletcher if does well?”

Of the three managers, two are currently in a job – De Zerbi (Marseille) and Tuchel (England).

Xavi has not coached since leaving Barcelona almost two years ago.
