Garba has not resigned as Niger Deputy Gov – Chief Press Secretary

Despite persistent strong rumours regarding an alleged plan by the Niger State Deputy Governor, Yakubu Garba to resign as the number two citizen of the State, his Chief press Ummikhultume Abdullahi says the story is not true.

Abdullahi who spoke with some Journalists made it clear that the Deputy Governor has not relocated from his residence as claimed by the peddlers.

“I am not aware of his plan to quit. He has not relocated from the official residence. I just had a meeting with him at the official residence,” the Chief Press Secretary stated.
