Good Friday: Oluebube enjoins Nigerians to Embrace Sacrifice, Unity

As Christians across the world mark this year’s Good Friday, the Senior Special Assistant to the Abia State Governor on Due Process, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, has enjoined Nigerians to embrace sacrifice, unity, and unwavering faith as they mark the solemn occasion.

Dr Chukwu in a goodwill message, Dr. Oluebube A. Chukwu, described Good Friday as a profound reminder of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the redemption of mankind.

He noted that beyond Christ’s suffering, the day represents the victory of love over hatred, hope over despair, and light over darkness, stressing that today’s Nigeria urgently needed such virtues for the good of all.

The Senior Special assistant further charged Christians to use the sacred moment for deep reflection and to renew their commitment to humility, compassion, and selflessness.

While encouraging residents to strengthen unity and promote peaceful coexistence within their communities, Dr Chukwu urged Nigerians at large to draw strength from Christ’s sacrifice in overcoming present difficulties and building a better future.

According to him, despite the nation’s socio-economic challenges, the message of the cross offers reassurance that no situation is beyond redemption.

He further appealed to Christians nationwide to dedicate the season to prayers for peace, progress, and divine guidance for both leaders and citizens.

Dr. Chukwu concluded by wishing Christians a reflective Good Friday, expressing hope that the season will bring renewed joy, purpose, and spiritual revival.
