International Men’s Day: Chinasa Celebrates Abia Men, Says “Your Leadership Shapes Our Future”

The Chief Liaison Officer of the Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja, Hon. Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, M.B.A, has joined millions across the world to celebrate International Men’s Day, extending heartfelt appreciation to men for their pivotal roles in building families, strengthening communities, and shaping national development.

In a goodwill message on Monday, Chinasa saluted the resilience and sacrifices of men who consistently provide, protect, inspire, and lead with integrity—both in public and in the quiet spaces of daily life. He described their contributions as the silent pillars upon which societies stand.

According to him, this year’s International Men’s Day underscores an important reminder: that true masculinity is not measured by dominance or bravado, but by responsibility, character, empathy, and a commitment to creating positive change. He emphasized the need for men to remain role models to younger generations, defenders of equality, and dependable pillars of support to women and children.

Chinasa reserved special praise for the men of Abia State, noting that their resilience and dedication continue to power the transformational progress currently witnessed under Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR. He stated that the governor’s people-centred approach is building a society where men and women alike can flourish in dignity and contribute meaningfully to development.

“As we celebrate International Men’s Day, I encourage every man to recommit to living with purpose—uplifting others, building stronger families, fostering peace, and standing for what is right,” he said.

Chinasa concluded his message by affirming that the presence, leadership, and positive influence of men remain indispensable to the collective aspiration of a better Abia and a more just society.
