In a significant move toward ensuring the success of the forthcoming 2025 Isuikwuato Nwanneukwu Cultural Festival, executive members of the Isuikwuato Development Union (IDU) paid a courtesy visit to the office of Executive Chairman, Mayor Chinedu Ekeke, at the LGA Secretariat, Mbalano, Isuikwuato Local Government Area.

The delegation, led by Hon. Harrison Chukwudi Egbe – IDU National Vice President General, and Chief Enyioma Ekebuike – IDU National Secretary General, provided the Mayor with comprehensive details of the two-day cultural event slated for December 23–24, 2025, and sought his commitment and support to ensure a successful festival that celebrates Isuikwuato heritage.

During the interactive session, Mayor Chinedu Ekeke warmly welcomed the delegation, commending the organizers for their vision and dedication to promoting local culture. He pledged full involvement from the LGA, emphasizing that such events are pivotal in fostering unity, cultural pride, and community development.

Other Prominent Endorsements Elevate Festival Expectations

The 2025 Nwanneukwu Cultural Festival has already received endorsements from several notable figures:

Chief Engr. Charles Omseie Ojukwu (Obioha Isuikwuato) – former Executive Chairman of Isuikwuato LGA, who will serve as Father of the Day.

Dr. Alex Otti, Governor of Abia State, is billed to attend as Special Guest of Honour.

General Ike Nwachukwu (Rtd.), a respected national figure, will serve as Chairman of the Occasion.

Organizers anticipate that the presence of these dignitaries, coupled with robust local engagement, will make the festival a historic and unifying cultural celebration for Isuikwuato and its diaspora.

Set to take place at the Isuikwuato High School football pitches, the two-day festival will feature cultural performances, traditional displays, youth programs, and community recognition initiatives.
