OFUJI Movement Expands Weekly Outreach, Reaches More Communities in Bende

The OFUJI Movement Team, with support from the Chima Anyaso Foundation, has sustained its weekly Sunday Ward Outreach across Bende Federal Constituency, extending humanitarian assistance to more communities through the distribution of food items and cash support.

During the latest exercise held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, the outreach team visited Umuhu Ezechi Ward and Ozuitem Ward, where a large number of residents turned out to receive assistance and engage directly with members of the movement.

The programme attracted women, elderly persons, and youths, many of whom benefited from the initiative aimed at alleviating the economic burden on families and supporting vulnerable members of the communities.

Speaking during the outreach, members of the OFUJI Movement emphasized that the initiative goes beyond material distribution, describing it as an avenue to connect with people at the grassroots, understand their needs, and provide meaningful support.

They explained that the weekly outreach programme is structured to ensure that communities within Bende Federal Constituency remain actively included in ongoing development efforts.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the intervention, noting that the support came at a critical time when many households are grappling with economic challenges.

The movement reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining the weekly ward outreach, stressing that its objective is to build stronger, more resilient, and empowered communities across the constituency.

According to the team, plans are underway to extend the initiative to additional wards, as part of broader efforts to deepen community engagement and strengthen social support systems.

They also appreciated partners and supporters for their continued backing of the movement’s humanitarian activities, reiterating their resolve to maintain the momentum of grassroots outreach and community empowerment across Bende Federal Constituency.
