The member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Ogah, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Senator Darlington Nwokocha, as he marks his 57th birthday, describing him as a rare statesman, a pillar of democracy, and a courageous lawmaker whose impact has transcended constituency boundaries.
In a warm birthday message released on Monday, Hon. Ogah praised Senator Nwokocha—popularly known as DARLOO—for his unshakable commitment to the democratic process, and his years of dedicated service to Abia State and Nigeria through the legislative chambers.
“On behalf of the great people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi and in my personal capacity, I celebrate my elder brother and colleague, Senator Darlington Nwokocha, on the occasion of his 57th birthday. Ogah commended Senator Nwokocha for his remarkable track record, having served eight impactful years in the Abia State House of Assembly, another eight years in the House of Representatives, and most recently, as Senator for Abia Central Senatorial District. He noted that Senator Nwokocha’s contributions to democratic growth, public policy formulation, and people-driven representation remain evident and appreciated by many.
