Owerri Show of Shame is An Indication of What Awaits APC In 2027 – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says the recent disruption of the City Boys event in Owerri, Imo State is a foreshadow of what awaits the All Progressives Congress, APC, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu all over the country.

Reacting to claims by All Progressives Congress, APC, National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, that PDP is no longer a political party, via a statement signed by its spokesman, Comrade Ini Ememobong, the PDP described Morka’s comment as most unfortunate and a clear indication that he and his cohorts are clearly delusional.

The PDP therefore warned the APC against engaging in dangerous propaganda.

“Interestingly, reality shows that despite the large-scale defections secured by force and inducement by the APC, Nigerians have consistently rejected the ruling party which is daily ruining Nigeria and Nigerians.

“This is evident in the struggle their party has had with membership registration, where in many states governors have copied the database of state empowerment programmes to populate their state registers.

“For Morka, who is struggling to become a modern-day Joseph Goebbels, he should remember that delusional propaganda does not just destroy a nation but ultimately consumes its proponents, as it did in Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler.

“His defence of the political genocide of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu APC-led Federal Government is akin to Goebbels’ defence of Hitler’s pogroms and concentration camps, ” the Umbrella Party observed.

Recall, following the recent defection of some political office holders to the APC, Morka had claimed that the PDP is no longer a political party.
